Get started on that active lifestyle in the False Creek Fitness Centre, the best kept secret on Granville Island. Improve or maintain your fitness in our two level centre that features strength machines, free weights, cardio equipment, stretching area, and more! Both rooms are wheelchair accessible.

Both rooms are wheelchair accessible.

Teens between 13-16 years old must sign up for a free 30 minute orientation with a fitness attendant before using the fitness centre and have consent forms signed by their parents/guardians.

Free orientations are available. Please book your orientation appointment with our front office staff at 604.257.8195.

Outside Personal Trainers are not permitted to utilize the False Creek Community Fitness Centre to train clients. All Personal Training is run as a False Creek Community Centre program and Personal Trainers must be set up as Instructor/Contractors with the False Creek Community Centre Association. If you have a friend helping you with your program they must also be working out and there cannot be any monetary exchange for their assistance.

Faydra Flow Hoop Dance – Level 1 (Beginner) (19+ yrs)
Come dance with us! In this class we will learn basic hoop dance moves, tricks (both on and off body), and short dance sequences. This class you will love, if you want to try hooping for the first time, or if you recently started on your hoop dance journey. Hoop dance is a new form of creative movement and low-impact exercise hosted in a fun, positive environment. Bring your own hoop or use one provided. $12.10 drop in, if space permits.

Have you been hula hooping for some time and are now looking to improve your skills and to challenge yourself? Then this class is for you. We will learn unique hoop dance tricks, combination moves and dance sequences both on and off body.
