Decription:

Celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival by making your own mochi mooncakes from scratch Ò€” no baking required. In this hands-on workshop, participants learn to make the delicate glutinous rice snow-skin dough, then shape and fill each mooncake with red bean, strawberry, or milky custard before pressing them with traditional wooden molds. Each participant takes home a box of finished mooncakes plus a recipe card to recreate them at home. Suitable for all skill levels Ò€” no cooking experience required. All materials will be provided. Led by Abraham Wong, a Hong Kong-born, Vancouver-based chef featured by CBC Vancouver for his Mid-Autumn mooncake teaching. Registration only, no drop-ins.
