Description:

New to hand sewing? Learn to hand stitch a mobile/string of individual robust prosperity hens. The tradition originates from India where personalized prosperity hens were hung by entry ways to ward off evil and garner luck and prosperity. Whether for your home or as a gift, prosperity hens symbolize a promise of abundance, fertility and a bountiful future. No prior experience necessary. All tools and supplies provided. Please be mindful of others and arrive on time – lateness disrupts the flow of the workshop. Registration only. No drop-ins.
